"I feel terrible writing this, but please don’t be deceived by the pictures, and even upon entering the lobby in person. I have never left a hotel without staying before, but we were so skeeved out that we just could not fathom staying. The room smelled awful, like stale cigarettes and I’m not even sure what else. There was no soap in the bathroom. The sheets did seem clean and we checked for bugs, but overall, it was cold and damp and the smell was too much. The front desk person was kind and said he might have been able to get us another room, but the conditions plus reading other reviews (which I should have done in advance) just made my gut say, LEAVE."
