The room was lovely and clean but outside our door smelt bad and worse at the hotel entrance. The dinning room was small with plastic table cloths. A very big fish tank was in the room with a very noisey filter. The window box plants were dead. The owner had to be phoned to check us in then couldn’t leave fast enough. Same at breakfast he left before we had finished so we left everything on the table. Felt like a on the side business with little love shown for the building or outside of the rooms.

Lovely place by the sea!
It is very close to the waterfront, not far from the harbour. The breakfast was amazing, happy with the service. Rooms are clean and bathroom as well, everything felt safe in the room. The only issue we had was the building site next door started work early and made a bit of noise. We also paid abit extra for the parking permit so make sure to budget for it. We will stay here again everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome.

I had a nice stay, the staff was welcoming and the room was clean. I was unimpressed by the fact I had to pre-arrange the time of my check in to allow someone to be there when I arrived. The room size was fairly small.

Sea Breezes sits just around the corner from the seafront leading up to the Hoe and has a certain charm. The owners are friendly without being effusive or over reaching. The room and facilities are clean and in good condition, albeit possibly a little cramped. We are both large people and found things a little snug although, granted, we didn’t spend a huge amount of time there other than to sleep, bathe and change. Having a large amount of baggage didn’t help but overall we enjoyed our stay there.

The photos in no way represent this property. They are from the previous ownership. It is owned by a nice family but they have no idea about the hospitality industry or what customers in the UK expect in terms of cleanliness or decor. Photos DO NOT represent the current ownership. Had I seen what it looks like now I would have never booked. Combo Chinese restaurant and Nail salon.

Good location and friendly owners
Great location. I read a few reviews which highlighted checking difficulties. We had no problem as we followed the clear instructions and called the number on the door. The room was compact but very clean and perfectly adequate. I would highlight that we did buy a seaview room, But this turned out to be a bit of an exaggeration as our room was on a street at a right angle to the sea and we could only get a glimpse of the sea from the window.
