Spain Hotels

The hotel was in a brilliant location, close to all of the sights. It was very clean and tidy and the staff were friendly and tolerant of our pitiful grasp of the lovely Catalan language. We chose a room overlooking La Rambla which was noisy, but it was our choice and we knew it would be. The upside being that we could sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the exciting things going on outside. All in all an excellent choice of hotel, would definitely recommend it

Located in famous shopping area, town center, and transportation center. The helpful hotel personal are fluent in English, French, Spanish and perhaps other languages. Facilities are upscale and comfortable. Breakfast is an additional charge. The hotel is a little tough to find. Bing maps didn't help. Taxis can take you right to the front door if they are equipped with the electronic pass device that lower vehicular barriers. Not all cabs are so equipped. The hotel is a short cab ride to the port and a 45 Euro cab ride to the airport. I'd definitely stay there again.

We stayed in a deluxe room on 5th floor - it was very stylish, comfortable, quiet, well appointed all round and also had a balcony with a view over La Rambla and the city. The staff in the hotel were helpful, friendly and efficient. The location on La Rambla was ideal for us and it was easy to get to all the main attractions, many within a few minutes' walking distance.

We stayed at the Atlantico for 4 nights and were very happy with every aspect of the service. We requested a quiet room on a high floor as Tripadvisor comments suggested the main road ouside was noisy. At check-in the receptionist confirmed our request and we were placed on the top floor away from the main road - very quiet. All staff were charming and spoke good english if requested, the reception staff being the best we had found at any hotel, answering queries about train travel, metro, buses quickly and providing printouts of timetables etc on the spot. Breakfast at 10 euros was very good value. Would recommend the hotel to friends.

We had a lovely stay at hotel Regina. Staff were polite and proffessional,from the reception staff to the cleaners.The hotel was clean, and stylish and modern.We had a family room which was well equipped and comfortable with a more than generous bath room.We had a room to the front of the hotel and the view was amazing.Hotel Regina is perfectly situated for walking into central Madrid,the Palace, the Prado,and for shopping.We would definitely recommend.

Hotel was very comfortable. Centrally located, but down a side street and as our room was at the back it was particularly quiet. One night we heard some other guests chatting near to our room, and in the mornings we were aware of cleaners, but both these were acceptable. Really good curtains meant we were able to lie in late - not disturbed by the morning light. Wi-Fi was not reliable, which was a little disappointing. Staff were happy to print the boarding passes we needed for our return flight. No kettle (I like my early morning cuppa!). But we were able to buy tea a few minutes away.

Spent 4 nights here in a lovely room overlooking a quiet side street. Spent one evening in the bar (watching football) and being fed various tapas by the lovely barman - a Malaga fan who forgave us for being Scottish despite his side being put out of some tournament or another due to a very bad decision by a Scottish referee! Had a drink (or two) on the Thursday evening up on the roof top terrace, lovely. Malaga is a beautiful city and the hotel's position was fantastic. Enjoyed my short trip immensely. Would recommend.

Helpful English speaking staff at check in and out. Unique design and very comfortable. Nice room with chairs and desk make it very liveable. For travellers there can be no better location as it actually adjoins the train station with ready access to airport and all other local communities. The bus station can be reached by walking through the train station and across a small road. For touring, it's a bit farther from the centre old town than some other hotels but really a reasonable walk.
