The staff was extremely attentive and the service and value greatly exceeded the cost.

AC Wasn't working. I booked a room their website listed as full here on expedia. You can only do this if Expedia lists the room as available. But I'm glad I did, we got an incredible upgrade to a king suite, way better than what we previously booked. This came Reddit suggested and it worked. The staff was very friendly, the pool was unfortunately closed, and besides the room staying at a constant 76* the stay was incredible.

Check in was quick and flawless. Very professional, polite and friendly hotel staff at the Omni and the accommodation are wonderful. I won't stay anywhere else!

This was a great hotel for accessing all of the places we wanted to visit in Pittsburgh. It is within walking distance to the Consol Energy Center, PNC Park and Heinz Field - plus restaurants, etc. Hotel room was very nice and updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room view was great. We would definitely stay here again. Only downside is self-parking. We were directed by hotel staff to a lot where we were immediately turned away as hotel guests are not permitted to park there. I would suggest parking at the Gateway garage across from front entrance for $22 a day.

I stayed for 3 nights in one of the Deluxe River View rooms at the Pittsburgh Fairmount. I give top marks for the staff, the ambience, location, quality of the room and the services at the hotel. Try the lobby bar, it's comfortable, has a nice atmosphere and they have a killer kiwi drink with gin (see photo). Lots of nice touches like the filtered cold water machine in the ice room, a bowl of fruit and bottled water in the lobby for people coming back from their morning run. The North Shore trail and the routes along the river are easy to get to and are perfect for a run or walk. I'm not much of a sports fan but there was a lot of excitement around the Pirate's stadium, some fun looking bars and restaurants, and it was just a short walk across the 6th Street bridge. I opted for a visit to the the nearby Warhol museum.

The Comfort Inn is the only chain hotel in the Towanda, Pa area, though there are at least two independent motels and bed & breakfasts. The approach to the hotel is easy to miss upon first seeing it as the sign isn't so large. Staff at the front desk were friendly and efficient. The place was nicely decorated for Halloween, parking lot free of litter and minimal but nice landscaping. What stood out to me were two things: the exceptionally clean room and the quality breakfast selection. Nothing is more important than a clean room and this one was spotless. The bed was comfortable, clean fresh smell of the room and it was quiet the night I stayed there. The "continental breakfast" was way more than that. It offered the usual coffee, tea and OJ., but also cereal, a waffle maker, fruit salad, hard-boiled eggs, pastries and creamed-chipped beef and gravy! Along with the rooms, this area was spotless and staff constantly maintained its cleanliness. I was impressed. The cost of the hotel was quite high in my view, but given it was so clean, smoke free and a great breakfast, I can hardly complain. Highly recommended
