This is a great hotel. The desk attendant seems like the owner, and is amazingly friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are clean and in excellent shape. Highly recommend!

Place was adequate for one night stay.. Older hotel with lumpy beds and small bathroom. Staff was very nice and friendly. Small breakfast with weak warm bread with butter and orange Tang for juice. Coffee wasn’t too bad.

Property owner was on site and greeted us upon entry. Very friendly and fun. Walked us to our room and even brought us a dvd player to watch the movie “Bridges of Madison County.” Like he said, the rooms aren’t the most updated but they are clean. Parking is plentiful and it was easy to find our room. Would definitely stay here again the next trip.

Delightful
The Covered Bridge is an absolute delight. If only there were places like this to stay all the time. Bill, the owner, is a gem! He is welcoming and accommodating and takes pride in his business. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, go to a big city. If you want home away from home, go to the Covered Bridge Inn.

We appreciated the attention to detail by our hostess; walking us up to the room and making sure the key worked. The only thing that was a bit frustrating is that at 9:20 on our check out morning, our door was opened (presumably by house keeping). Fortunately we weren't indecent. Next time, knock first or check with the front desk to see if the room is unoccupied.
