Central Delhi: Central Delhi has scores of reminders of British rule in India and numerous historic monuments can be viewed here. At its core, the majestic Rajpath runs from the grand Rashtrapati Bhavan in the west, to the India Gate war monument, designed by Edwin Lutyens, in the east.
