Great room, speedy reservation, you can pay your incidental in cash at the front desk and get it back the next morning which was great! Beds were clean and no bugs
This hotel was, the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The reviews are misleading, the surroundings was awful. The room was ok, except the power outlets kept going out, so we couldn’t watch tv. Unless we used a different outlet. The bed was very comfortable. I see they were doing renovations, and it looks like it will be a nice hotel. When they are finished, just the area is suspect.Staff was very friendly, and they understood.

The staff was very courteous, breakfast was good but the hotel had a really bad smell to it plus we did not get the right room that we booked online. The room was clean but there were big stains on the couch. The room was not what we expected to rent.
The area itself prevented me from staying. There are numerous beer & liquor establishments around this hotel. That isn't the problem, it's the homeless and other people walking around. There's a tent right behind the nearest gas station that has people living in it. There are people walking around the property and properties around it. I didn't feel safe exiting my car. I ended up not staying and losing out on the money from this reservation. 2 people walked up to my window when I pulled up to the hotel.
Initially getting there these rounding area was very questionable once we got into our room it was okay but when we got to our bathroom they were two large cockroaches in there my fiance took the picture and showed the receptionist at the front desk we were able to get a new room we checked it everything was fine however I saw that while we were getting ready for bed the bottom she started to come off I went to go and fix it and I saw that the match was extremely stained also it looks like they changed a few things in the bathroom in the tub itself we're usually those anti-slip maps are it looks like that was taken out but the outline of the mat was still there so it wasn't all that clean a lot of stains on the walls and the ceilings
I’ve stayed here several times because it’s close to the location I need to be for business. It’s a decent place however I find that you can hear everything from the other rooms. I also the beds can be hit or miss. I’m not topically a complainer. I just think it’s not 5 star quality. On a side note, I will still come back because location is key for me

The rooms were a bit outdated. The online photos were not the same as in real life. The price was a whole lot more than the ammenities of other hotles. Prices were also ajusted for changing my room request.
It was good, clean, quiet, the AC was not working very well, but it was fine

I really wouldnt recommend this place to anyone with mold sensitivity. The room had visible mold growing on one of the walls and when I tried to use the gym it smelled so strongly of mildew that I couldnt even go in it. There was also mold on the breakfast bagels :(
The beds were comfy and the breakfast had a variety of foods, and there was plenty of hot water/good pressure for showering, but I wouldnt want to stay here again because of the mold problem.
Not the worst place, but not the greatest. Either people are coming in and out leaving the door open for other people that weren’t necessarily staying there. The check-in stuff left a little bit to be desired, but the room is service staff./cleaning staff was amazing super friendly and very helpful. I I am disabled and have stayed at many La Quinta and they’ve all been great until this one. The beds were so high. I could barely get in it and when I requested a different room, they charged me extra and I had stayed at three other La Quinta and never had one issue with their beds or staff. This definitely left me underwhelmed and never would stay here again.
I would not recommend to stay here at all. First, the neighborhood is sketchy! The lobby was pretty, but then you start to head to the elevator and the floors are all bubbled up and the side door to enter in and out were nasty and dingy. The room smelled good, but there was a bug on the bed I had to kill (just a random bug no roach or bed bug), the drawers under the TV were broken and there was a blood splatter on the floor in front of the TV, the duvet had stains and looked nasty so I pulled it off and the walls were all beat up. The TV was from the 90s and the mirror was not cleaned (still had water spots all over it). The pros were the Air Conditioner worked, the shower was clean and the front desk clerk was nice upon check in. This hotel had pretty good reviews prior to my booking, and I’m not sure how. I would not stay here again and would not recommend to anyone else.
My stay at La Quinta was satisfactory overall, but there are several areas that require attention. It is evident that the property has not been adequately maintained. While the rooms appeared generally clean, the linens were outdated and stained (though laundered) in both my room and my parents’ room. Additionally, cabinet hardware was loose or falling off, baseboards were missing in areas that appeared to need repair, and the bathroom caulking showed visible signs of what appeared to be mold. I always clean my hotel rooms upon arrival, but the overall condition was disappointing.
The hallway flooring was bubbled and uneven, creating a clear tripping hazard for guests. As someone who regularly uses hotel fitness facilities, I was particularly disappointed with the gym and pool. The gym had an extremely strong and unpleasant odor that made it unusable, even after attempting to ventilate the space. I ultimately had to leave the property to work out at an off-site gym. The pool was also visibly dirty.
The in-room entertainment was inconsistent and subpar. My room was equipped with an analog television, while my parents’ room offered streaming capabilities. Additionally, each attempt to watch television required logging into the Wi-Fi.
On a positive note, the breakfast was quite good and met expectations. The front lobby was clean and well-maintained, and the housekeeping staff was courteous and friendly.
Even for a short stay in Dallas, I would choose alternative accommodations
