Front desk staff and restaurant staff very kind. Always front desk or security at entrance so it felt safe. Property needs SUPER make over--rooms are outdated, and everything very old (ie, lamp shades, chair, towels, linens)

This hotel advertise a really nice yellow building except that's not where they house guest. Guest get to stay in a run down blue building at the back and that street looks sketchy. Once you get off that street the neighbourhood is lovely. Trainees are clueless as to what is going on. Also they double booked my room for the entire time and did not care to inform me of this. My impression is that they are careless and heartless.

It's a beautifull historical building but needs a bit of restoration to it. There was an old smell coming out of the wall and you could see mold here and there. The staff was very friendly and there was a very kind manager that helped us very well.

If your aim is to save money, have a clean place with A/C to sleep at night that is located in the heart of willemstad this is the place for you. No hot water, a little nousy in the morning due to the surroundings. All in all I would stay here again! Don’t have anything bad to say really, only things there’s ants of you leave out food in your room. No mini fridge, microwave or anything. Paid $360 for 8 nights, super bargain! Thank you to the staff that was so helpfull whenever i needed something.

I loved the location which allowed me access to everything and the quality service from the young people was exceptional. I would like if the hotel provided dinner and to have more than 2 tv stations working in my room.

One night in Willemstad

This hotels’ location is excellent for those wanting to be right downtown Willemstad. The staff in training are all friendly and there to help make your stay comfortable. The room was large, bed was comfortable, but the bathroom could have used a little TLC. Unfortunately, we did not have hot water for our morning shower. Taxi to airport is approximately $35-40 US.

Needs better toiletry options (bar soap instead of liquid, shampoos, etc.). WiFi was not available in room, had to go out to common area. No cups for drinking water even out of tap, no bottled drinks.

The only thing was leakage of water in the bathroom, and the bad smell it had. If you want to sleep longer remember to put the badge do not disturb on your door, otherwise you will be woken up for roomservice early in the weekend.

Cute hotel down town where students are trained

Very sympathetic place run by students, who do their utmost to accomodate you. They gain essential on the job training.

Closer to a private room in a hostel than a hotel

The location of this hotel is excellent and, if you will be gone and only require a place to sleep, it’s recommended. That said, it sorely needs updating, there isn’t any hot (not even warm) water in the shower and don’t expect any toiletries or a hair dryer. There is a soap dispenser, and that’s it. The restaurant at the hotel is decent and inexpensive compared to others. It is only open for breakfast and lunch and serves a very limited selection however.

Excellent Location

This is the third or fourth time I am staying at this hotel and I am glad to see that there are quiet a number of improvements over the last time. The staff try their best and the room, although basic, is kept clean. The free internet is reliable. The TV is very basic - could do with at least one soccer channel. This time round I included breakfast and although it is a fixed menu, it was enjoyable. It is an academy hotel i.e. they train staff in the hotel business. So occasionally staff will be at a loss as to what to do but there is always someone to help out. Not having to do with the hotel but the only hitch to my whole stay was the car rental from the airport. Although booked for 11pm, they closed the booth at 11pm so when I came out at 11:10 they were gone and I had to take a taxi (US$45.00) so travellers make sure they will wait for you. Don't take SiXT as they don't and the others will.
