The kitchen is excellent, everything home made. Really!!! The inside of the rooms is very stylishly arranged, and lots of books! The location is close to the centre, bit longer walk to the beach.

Excellent Stay
Erica and Mark were excellent hosts, we stayed in the attic room which was great. There was several windows to open and also a large fan so at no point did the room feel hot or stuffy. It had a very modern en-suite and tea and coffee facilities with homemade shortbread. Breakfast in a basket was fantastic, I was pleasantly surprised by the range of items on the menu. The breakfast sarnie was homemade bread with bacon, mushrooms and an egg in it. This was delicious. There was hot pastries, freshly squeezed juice and homemade granola. The homemade granola was superb. Well done Erica and Mark one of the best B and B we have stayed in.

They were extremely accommodating and the handmade breakfast is amazing! The room is super clean, tidy and quiet during the night. I would definitely come again!

Look no further
Fantastic hospitality. We received a great welcome on arrival and this continued throughout our stay. The room was wonderful, extremely clean, tasteful and comfortable. Breakfast was a hamper with freshly squeezed orange juice, home made bread and muesli, and many other delights. Mark and Erica were chatty whilst respecting our privacy. A fabulous place to stay. We plan to return next year.

Highly recommended Falmouth accommodation
The Lyonesse was a great place to stay. I always like it when there are unexpected extras, branded products and not everything has been nailed down to prevent theft. The top floor bedroom provides a nice outlook over north Falmouth, and there is sufficient room even though it is a loft conversion. The TV, whilst small, does the job, the en suite again whilst compact does the job and the bed, whilst firmer than I'd prefer, was adequate, but I was delighted the pillows were not awful hollowfibre or whatever it's called. Downside is that there's no clothes hanging space, there is innovative use of copper piping for toiletry storage but in the bedroom a better positioned mini clothes rail would have been welcome. As a man I just didn't get the plethora of scatter cushions, sorry. The room air was in my opinion stuffy so I was glad of an opening window to air the room. Breakfast was outstanding, no other word. Home made produce and perfectly cooked eggs, bacon and sausage. If there's a better breakfast in Falmouth then good luck finding it. I would definitely stay at the Lyonesse again if I was visiting.

Excellent stay
Really enjoyed our two nights' stay at Lyonesse. The loft bed was perfect for our 9 year old, and our bed was very comfortable. The room was well appointed, and Mark and Erica were gracious hosts. Breakfasts were the best B&B breakfasts we had on our entire 2 week vacation in the UK- the porridge is so good, as is the granola. This was a perfect home base for exploring southwestern Cornwall, we hope to be back some day! Parking on the street was easy and free.

First visit to Cornwall, Falmouth was our base for 2 days, plenty to do, would stay longer next time. 10 minute walk down hill to main port. Mark and Erica were fantastic, any reasonable request was not a problem, Mark makes a great bowl of porridge for breakfast, this is coming from a Scotsman! Room was great, everything that you need is supplied.

Lovely warm, welcoming guesthouse.
The Lyonesse guest house is run by Mark & Erica who really make this a great place to stay in Falmouth. The house is warm & welcoming and is full of homemade crafts which give it a cosy feeling. The room we stayed in was the topmost room and had recently been refurbished to a very high standard with a beautifully appointed bathroom. The rooms are individually designed with interesting and unusual features - there's nothing bland about this place! Breakfast is amazing- food cooked to order perfectly and Ericas homemade granola is delicious. The hosts are really friendly and offer advice and information about the local and surrounding area even providing routes/ maps for walks and drives. We would definitely stay again!

An extremely nice and comfortable place to stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the rooms were clean, had everything we needed ( the home made cake on arrival was a nice touch) and the beds extremely comfortable. We were greeted by very friendly owners who took time to explain local sights and places to visit. The breakfast was very good with home made bread and a smile. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it anyone wanting a break with peace and quiet.

Excellent B & B with 2 issues
Good location with easy walk to town centre, welcoming owners, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Issues were difficulty in parking and shower only delivering cold water. I would be happy to go again.

Well situated for short walk to seafront. Very good welcome and very accommodating when, unexpectedly we had to add 1 extra to our party and have an early breakfast on a Saturday morning.

Mark and Erica are very, very kind and friendly people. They do anything for you. Very clean and modern room with lovely decorations. Excellent breakfast. Lovely town to visit.
