Lovely period hotel, the pool area needs attention, tiles missing in pool, steps down badly cracked, but nevertheless useable.
We stayed in room 23 which has a false window, that has frosted glass and overlooks the hallway.
Unfortunately the hall lights are left on all night, a given there was only a blind, did not make the room dark, perhaps a pair of curtains would help.
Staff were lovely, both reception and young man waiting on Sunday evening.
Beautiful well kept grounds and enough pluses that we have booked again.
