A pleasant stay but room for improvement
Out start at Club Mahindra Madikeri was good. Housekeeping was prompt if you called in them for anything. However in the 2 night stay our room was never cleaned once. Food was average. Breakfast was the best of the meals. All precaution regarding masks, physical distancing, sanitization etc were taken.

Great experience at the resort. Food was excellent both at breakfast and during room service. Only slight issue was the TV had a buzzing sound that was a bit irritating

Bad expierience. Avoid.
I regret booking at this place. We were tired when we reached and it took them so long to show us to our room. We showered and went out. When we came back our key would not work. We went to reception to tell them and the girl laughed at us mockingly saying that the key is working. I got very angry and demanded to see the interim manager but before she came they sent someone with us with new key and guess what!!! that key did not work either. Then the manager turned up with locksmith. It took him an hour to fix the lock. By this time i was fed up and my whole stay was ruined.

Budget 5 star accommodation
Our stay at mahindra resorts was excellent. The resort was well maintained and set in a rain forest setting. The prices are reasonable and food was very good.

Good resort for a relaxing vacation
Stay was very comfortable and gave you a refreshing feel. Staff is very friendly. Wifi service is not good, also the spa had a lot of hidden charges that were not discussed upfront.

Not worth the stay
was charged 2500 rupees for extra bed, no linen was provided had to sleep on a sofa which was soiled and dirty. Had requested at the time of check in If I am paying for extra bed I want a roll out bed with clean linen. I Complained to management they brushed it off with the SORRY. Ridiculous to charge to use the gym. I was not informed there is a fee to use gym. I was at the gym around 8 am no gym staff was present.. Why would you pay for machines that is not connected to power. Very outdated machines too.I understand applicable fees for spa but never heard of gym fee. Rip off!!!! Over priced Bar menu. Please take your alcohol with you. Avoid eating at the resort and go out to town there are lot of good eating places for fraction of the resort cost. Very unfriendly staff. I don't mind paying exorbitant tariff as long as descent service is provided. Look else where. If you are a member probably you can suck it up.

Fell short of expectations
Check in was smooth. The rooms were decent. The bathrooms were small and filled with flies. We had a king bed room with a balcony. The bed and the rest of the room was clean. They had two outdoor pools, but the water was freezing cold. We could barely stay in the water for 5-10 mins. Should have an outdoor pool. Breakfast was good . Lunch and dinner buffet was available . We were told alacarte was not available. The buffet was expensive and was not worth it if you eat small quantities. They have a snack bar with very limited options. My 8 year old was not allowed on the adventure zone. The resort organizes day tours and small games for families during the day. Our keys were not working twice and had to find an employee to let us into the rooms. My parents are elderly so they had to wait outside till this was sorted out. Luckily we were not locked out at night. I would give the resort a 3 star. I wouldn't stay there again unless they offer a heated pool and better dining options

Excellent place but pricey
We booked online to attend a wedding, needed a hotel which suited international standards, and it did. They mainly cater for vacation club members, unable to book on-site. They allowed late check out. We had breakfast buffet and it was superb with wide variety. Staff were very friendly and ready to help. Rooms did my smell. Bathroom was good. Beds were comfortable. Overall excellent place.

Excellent staff
We went as a family to privately celebrate my father's 80th birthday. The hotel staff found out and decorated his room when we were out and even delivered a birthday cake all on their own initiative! Made his day!!

Club Mahindra Medikeri Coorg.
Continuous rains and fog... Nice huge property. Excellent staff and excellent food although a bit expensive still quality and number of options in buffet makes up for it. Special mention of housekeeping who returned my iPad to Mumbai after I forgot in my room. The only drawback was the hot water which was not even warm. Would recommend.

Very nice property located amid rain forests..
Overall property is good with lots of activity to keep the people of each age group busy.Rooms has everything needed for a family with kids.Very good breakfast buffet.Lunch and dinner buffet can be improve.overall nice place to stay with family.

Nice hill top hotel, location is fantastic.
Hill top hotel, with perfect view of nature. Hospitality is very nice.Food is good. Clouds everywhere with drizzling , makes you feel so refreshed and relaxing. Away from noisy and polluted places. All you hear is pleasant sounds of birds. A must visit place in COORG. Take my words and stay once in this hotel at least once.

Nice resort and good staff
Good hospitality from the staff. Took one full day tour from the resort and the guides RaviChandra and Kannipa were very friendly and nice. Infact they remembered us for the rest of the stay at resort and offered friendly help in taking our pictures.

Croweded property - Highly exploited commercially
When we book this property in one of the scheme in which the second night was coming complementary we thought we got a very good deal from expedia and day dreaming that we would be having the excellent view from our room and other facilities. After taking a flight from Delhi - Bangalore and from Bangalore to Coorg by Taxi we land up at Club Mahindra - till that time things were ok as they welcome nicely with a personnerl card from the property manager. We got a shock when we were housed in room which was smelly (a basement sort of room) with no view at all that too giving a feel of all gases which was a result of horticulture waste not cleared, Immediately we raise the concern with the person who was accompanying us to show the room and he just breifed to to his supervisor - nothing happen as we were told by then property is full (Hotel Units) and we cant help you. After few minute we approach the reception area where we were introduced to different level one level up each time and they also said the same thing to me, EACH TIME THEY MENTIONED THE ROOM NUMBER I CAN READ THEIR EYES WERE TALKING THAT MEANS THEY HAVE THE SAME KIND OF FEEDBACK FROM OTHER VISITOR ALSO., and to my suprise all of them were telling lie as I could demonstrate to them that the hotel units are available online for the same day, I request the staff that I want to see the property manager but he didn't show up despite sending text from my phone and repeated request to them.

Great property, terrible staff and front desk.
It is truly a beautiful property, acres of green lush trees and plantations. We really enjoyed walking the property and the overall ambience. Thats where the good things ends, I wish the ambience would rub off on the staff. The staff are just plain rude and incompetent. Simple requests are just plain ignored or rudely brushed off. The wait staff at dinner seem to have drunk the same kool aid as the front desk, not even greeting us or serving the food. It got worse for their want to clear the table and hovering around asking every 2 mins if they can clear the table while we were eating. The rooms are mostly comfortable but the hot water has a tendency to have a lifetime of 10 minutes and if you have a family it will take about an hour or more for everyone to take a hot shower. Finally, there is also tendency to charge for every small thing and constantly upsell without telling you whats included in your stay. Example, we had a breakfast buffet included which they did not mention once until checkout time and just laughed at us when we pointed it out that they never told us.

Nice resort located in forest surroundings.
The drive to the resort itself was very pleasant. We reached late in the evening and had a warm welcome. One thing to note is that their checkin times are 1400 hrs whereas checkout is at 1000 hrs - so only longer stays will be able to make the most of the stay. We were not Club Mahindra members - so our family stayed in 2 hotel units. Due to the rooms running near full, we did not even get adjacent rooms. The resort is located in a 35 acre property. There are many activities that the resort organizes. We chose the 1/2 day long trip to Dubare elephant camp. This was an opportunity to interact very closely with elephants - kids got an opportunity to bathe, feed and ride the elephants - all at additional charges over an above the per head charges that the resort takes for the trip. The experience was good. Later in the day, we drove to the nearby Abbey falls which was a great experience as well. We returned on the 3rd day and on our way back to Bengaluru, stopped by at a Tibetan Buddhist temple (called Golden Temple) near KushalNagar.

The best place to stay in
We stayed there for 3 days and the experience is Excellent. 1. It is located in fantastic place. 2. Ideal location for jogging either towards town or into jungle 3. Hotel staff were cordial and wearing a pleasing smile always. 4. Rooms were clean and cottages are distributed across the resort (resort spans more than 100 acres includes in-house coffee plantation, lot of vegetation, rope activities...nice ambiance ) 5. there's a travel agency right in front of the resort main gate which is an advantage.

Superb stay, good service, fantastic location
First impression is always the best impression, it was a very warm welcome by the friendly staff. We were upgraded from superior rooms to suite rooms (Block "Leeche" - room No. 1148 and 1149), facing the swimming pool and surrounded by pitch greenery.....we throughly enjoyed the monsoon....it makes our hear going ha...ha...Loads of complimentary facilities were available at the Fun Zone and evening was filled with various family entertainments which is a must watch....The 'in-house' plantation walk was a morning booster ...In toto...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Club Mahindra Kodagu Valley and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wishes.......Hip hip hurray to Club Mahindra........

Amazing Property
The property was amazing. Nice for people who wish to relax. We did not go anywhere outside the property (not even to the falls close by) - kind of glued inside the resort. Checkin and checkout were smooth - better than expected. Room service was also prompt. Quality of food can be still better though.Overall, the stay was good and we were very satisfied.

bicycle ride in the resort is complimentary, however they had only 4-5 bicycles for 220 rooms. i dont know in the season how they accommodate it. we went for 3 times in funzone for bicycle ride but failed to get even one half an hour round. other bicycles with gear is there but that is for outside resort and they charge Rs. 300 per bicycle (again Costly) nobody uses this, hence it is available. Conditions of the both swimming pool is really nice and well maintained. continuous noise of jungle insects are the unique feature of the property. drawback is to go to medikeri town hardly any vehicle is available outside resort, if u take service of skyway taxi which has collabration with club mahindra people, they charge Rs. 240 for just 5 kms means 48 Rs. per km which might be 2nd highest after new york. for tour conducted by them, we had taken dubare elephant camp ride, when i inquired with them they had given complete list of tour with fees in which it was mentioned that entry fees to camp and elephant bathing-riding-feeding etc is included in that, however, after reaching there we had to pay for the entry fees-elephant bathing-feeding etc. and wonder is that due to local festival there, there will not be elephant ride on that day, experts and local people of club mahindra did not know that so total Rs. 950 plus taxes goes into vain, thanks to club mahindra tour department. overall good for 2 days not more than that only for those who can afford.

The rooms are functional, but sparsely decorated. A more modern look would have added to the overall experience. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Food is tasty. The adventure sports are easy but lot of fun. I would strongly recommend the spa - Svaastha!

Reasonable resort - service could be better....
Found many aspects inconvenient - getting access to your car to get to town is quite a challenge and this meant we were late for many of our planned events (we were attending a wedding and some family functions). If however you intend to stay within the resort and not venture out, it could be fine for you. Room service could be better - restaurant dining was fine.
