Staff was very nice - close restaurants - easy breakfast - oddly reminded me of a small Vegas hotel I once stayed in. Definitely will stay again next time we are going this way.

Place can use and upgrade. Overall it was a good stay, I hated the parking having to ring the bell to get in and out of the lot.

Once again I proved to myself that a trip to Spain is worthless, specially Madrid. I paid 12 Euros more for a room with breakfast, and all I was offered was 1 coffee, 1 orange juice and old croissant; I declined the croissant and asked for another coffee and was told NO. It was a blaming game between Hotels.com and hotel front desk, but no one took ownership that €12 for a coffee and an orange juice is like being robbed on my face, but hey that’s Spain! I also paid €20 for an early check-in to have the housekeeper getting into the room twice, but the room doesn’t provide a Do Not Disturb sign, and hotel would not give me a double bed room unless I’d pay another €5. Terrible experience.

My daughter age 10 and myself really enjoyed our stay. Only problem was the language barrier as no one spoke English. The hotel did not provide tourist attraction service and had to book yourself. Breakfast is very limited in option. But very clean and tidy rooms with beautiful views from window.

Simple hotel
The hotel facility is quite simple, and on the low end site. Basically there is nothing in the room. No hanger, no soap, no Shampoo, you have to ask for it. Breakfast is quite simple, basically just some breads, but there is hot milk, winning point. Another winning point is free parking. But you have to talk to the front desk first to enter the parking area.

Great location!
All good here, great location as a stop off on the outskirts of Madrid especially if your trying to avoid the centre of Madrid. Plenty of places to eat, local supermarketd and a shopping complex about 10/15 mins walk away. Room was spacious and comfy, parking easy opposite the hotel.

Work and dance in the room!
Excellent WIFI, work desk, chairs and even enough space to dance in the room! Their parking was available for 6 Euros per day which should have been disclosed in the hotel description.

Handy for the town centre and local buses
The only downside of the hotel was the breakfast, limited items and the same every day, but you get what you pay for. Other than that everything else was good

Easy to find and a good centre
Very easy to find and close to Madrid and a good centre for exploring the area. No restaurant whilst there but plenty of choice close by and breakfast in the bar/cafe included in the price.

Well the breakfeats looked Free
Only issue we had was a weak air conditioning (in all fairness it was very hot outside around 95-100 and we American's are used to stronger Air) We were duped into thinking breakfast was free ( it was laid out like typical buffet and no one was around to ask. It was not! Could not provide a duplicate key when asked

Good basic hotel.
We were visiting with our three month old son. Room was ideal except for the fact that they turn off the AC in the entire building at midnight. We woke up two hours later absolutely roasting. Temperatures had dropped significantly since we'd gone to bed four hours earlier which meant we had to open window and let cold draft in near the baby. Not ideal. Apparently not uncommon in northern Spain. Not too close to any decent restaurants. All basically shopping mall restaurants. On plus side, staff were very friendly and helpful.

Comfort for great value.
Hotel was simple and comfortable and a great value. Room with shower was better than room with bath. All are a bit minimalist in decor. Excellent heating (important in winter!). Breakfast OK. No restaurant but there are several within walking distance (we prefer this hotel to the other in Collado Villalba for that reason). Parking lot is across street.

Expected a restaurant, but only a cafeteria available, and only a limited range of basic tapas on offer. No other restaurants/bars with food nearby. Room small and basic, but clean. Only wanted overnight while travelling but was expecting a dining facility.

It's ok for a overnight stay if you have a car. AC only works in common area like hallway and front desk. We had open the windows to sleep at night because it was hot. Wifi works fine. I would not stay here again.

Budget for travelling
Rooms was located nearest to the mountain where I wanted to go, north of Madrid.so it was good. Night time on weekend may be a little noisy as there is a home club beside it. Alot of drunk youngsters making noise at 3am. Relatively ok. Not much complaints. Cheap hotel parking opposite for 6€. Basement for 12€. Free parking right beside. At your own risk.

Car Parking
We had great difficulty with the car parking. This hotel does not have sole use of any parking and is reliant on parking beside the road. After moving the car about 5 times we parked at the side of the hotel enytrance but the police asked the receptionist to ask us to move the car as it was illegally parked. we eventually found a parking space at 22.30. Not at all satisfactory after having travelled from Santander

Galaico Hotel in Madrid
Very nice hotel, the staff was very helpfull, our room was a bit cold, but we dint even asked to move and the reception staff moved us straight away with no problems!! the room was lovely and clean, but I must say one thing, the walls are very thin, I was kept awake by the couple next door nearly all night and it was very embarasing as I was staying with my young daughter.

Hotel Galaico Villalba a nossa experiência
Hotel muito boas condições em relação ao mobiliário de quarto e casa de banho. A estadia foi boa. Contudo como estávamos no 3º piso com maior exposição ao Sol havia excesso de calor não havendo uma boa climatização do quarto. Tivemos que abrir a janela e mesmo assim só durante noite arrefeceu. A casa de banho bastante boa, embora só havia duche alto. Sem hipótese de duche de telefone. O atendimento muito simpático e acolhedor. Pequeno almoço simples mas bom. Maquina das torradas fazia guincho irritante

El personal muy amable. La habitación sin ruidos. Tan solo un pequeño contratiempo, una de las toallas de ducha estaba sucia, posiblemente se les caería o la rozaron con algo sin darse cuenta el personal de limpieza ( un pequeño detalle sin importancia ✌️)

HORRIBLE Y DESAGRADABLE EXPERIENCIA. NO IR
Horrible experiencia en este hotel. Los somieres de las camas crujen de tal manera que hacen que dormir sea imposible. La persiana no baja del todo y te despierta la luz. Además, para rematar la desagradable experiencia, en pleno agosto nos apagron el aire acondicionado dos veces en una misma noche. Nos despertamos sudando a la 1:30am solicitando a recepción que no funcionaba y nos mintieron diciendo que había saltado el automático. A las 5am misma situacion y en esta ocasión resulta que lo había apagado porque había algún huesped que se quejó por frío. Y APAGAN el de todo el mundo. Indignante. Y ni una disculpa o compensación cuando hicimos el check out.
