My family of 6 stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. There was plenty of room for a short stay. The bathroom counter was large, which was nice with two teen girls. I appreciated that they had a laundry basket to keep our dirties separate. The bathroom was small, but liked that the sink and mirror was not behind a door with the toilet and shower. We also enjoyed the indoor pool.

The property was very nice and quiet. We stayed for a tournament and the location was close by! There were a lot of food options close by.

First time here since the rebranding. The rebuild is nice. Rooms are great. Only dings are for a bit less than friendly staff, which wasn’t awful. However, since the rebrand they got rid of ice machines and the in-room ice maker took 7 hours to make 10 cubes. And they got rid of any form of continental breakfast. Again, not awful, but with so much completion in walking distance, these are two things that’ll drive me elsewhere going forward.

The staff was absolutely excellent. Both of the front desk managers I interacted with were very polite, kind and wonderful conversationalists. Docking one star for all the restoration going on, and the coffee maker in the room, which made coffee that tasted like extract of freshly machined plastic. It's pretty rare for me to pitch a cup of coffee. Gotta come back to the wonderful staff, though. A reception staff.

We've stayed in an IHG hotel before and had no issues. That was not the case this time. The mattress and pillows were awful. The room stank of industrial glue one night, possibly due to renovations ongoing, but my husband is scent sensitive and this set off his asthma. The room was shabby overall, but serviceable. The side exterior door was propped open at all hours due to construction, but left that was even long after they'd stopped for the day. This is a security hazard. We'd kick the rock out of the way whenever we got home for the night. Overall, we were disappointed and couldn't wait to get home.

The location is close to lots of places to eat and only 15 minutes from kings island. Nice hotel but will be better once lobby refurbishment is complete. The rooms were nicer than the complex, thank goodness.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
This hotel is completely torn apart! It was like staying in a war zone. Only 1 working elevator that we had to share with the crew and their equipment. Plaster and construction supplies are everywhere. The doors were propped open, no AC it was hot as heck. We came back from KI around 10:30 pm, we parked in the side parking lot that was pitch black, with no lights, and the side entry wouldn't let us in. We had to go around to the front. Again no lights and my husband tripped in the dark. The room never cooled down. The room itself was about as expected, small hard beds, crappy bedding. We were all settled and tired by the time we realized the AC wasn't working. We just made the best of it and got up and left the next morning.

When we booked this hotel 3 months ago it did not tell us that it was under construction found out when we got there. Everything was covered with drywall dust. They started working at 7:44 in the morning and didn’t stop until 5 o’clock in the evening. It was supposed to during the week we asked Lady she said 9 o’clock during the week they would start working well that didn’t happen. Horrible!! couldn’t come back from the park and lay down and take a nap or anything any day that we were there because of all the noise. It was nasty nasty nasty would not stay there again.

Do not stay here until renovation is complete.
The Lobby is undergoing a major renovation. Boxes and workers were everywhere. It was difficult to access the elevators since the workers were also using them. Our room had a huge red stain on the carpet. The porcelain toilet cover didn't fit since it was for the wrong toilet. We took out 3 rooms for our family to stay there. Embarrassing. We have stayed here many times when it was the Hyatt Place since it was so nice. It may be nice again once the transformation is complete, but as of now it should be closed.

I had seen ahead of time that they were doing some construction, so the fact that there was basically no lobby didn't really bother me. And I will say I didn't hear construction noise as others have noted. What I wasn't happy with was the cleanliness of the room. There were hairs in the towels, stains on the bed, and the carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. I was hesitant to put my 8-month old down to crawl around because it was so gross. We also asked for a crib and they provided a filthy pack-n-play that wouldn't even lock into place so we couldn't even use. Luckily we were only here for one night.

It was supposed to be smoke free and it was full of smoke my face was completely broke out my kids was coughing like crazy cause of the smoke. They was renovating and it was not on website cause I would not have booked there. The pool was disgusting full of spiders and water was green. Just over all nasty and room was over priced and small the bathroom you could even move in crammed. Horrible and if I could have canceled I would have but was there for kids tournament.

The staff at check-in completely ignored me while they sat on their phone. Another family came downstairs as I was checking in to say someone else was already in the room they were assigned - that was terrifying and very concerning. The lobby was completely under construction and smelled bad. Our room was very dirty - stains on the floor, sheets, and curtains. There was hair in the bed and on the pillows and a dead bug on the bathroom floor. It was very obvious this room was not cleaned. The desk chair and the shower door were both broken. The couch was damp. There was a trash can full of trash right outside the door to our room that smelled terrible. We arrived late (11pm) or I would never have stayed here. We were woken up by drilling and very loud construction noises at 7am. I complained to Expedia and fortunately they switched us to another hotel immediately. Do not book a stay here!!!

We were in town for Taylor Swift concert! The check in lady was very kind making suggestions for the local area. The room was clean, only issue was shower drained slowly. The hotel was under repairs. We were only there for 10 hours and experienced no major issues.

We stayed here with our three little kids (6 and under) for one night as we were driving through. We thought by spending a little extra that it would be worth the spend. The room was dirty. The sheets had stains and it looked and smelled like some of the pillows were not even washed. The drain in the shower would not work. We were charged $170 for a night and were highly disappointed. They should consider dropping the price especially since they are currently doing construction in the lobby. Chose somewhere different!

The carpet was very worn and ripped going into the bathroom. The lobby was dusty and under construction. Seems like they were trying to remodel but didn't finish and opened up the rooms / areas of the hotel that were not ready to be opened. Not worth the high price we paid to stay there.
