It felt like the place has been rundown and the service was subpar. They placed a huge hold on my credit card and it wasn’t removed for a week after I stayed there. I called him to request an update on what’s going on and have been transferred like to three different people homework really helpful. In terms of facility felt super bare. I expected to be much more premium and frankly felt very basic. The room did not even have a refrigerator let alone any minibar or any kind of goodies. It felt more like a cheap motel rather than an upscale establishment. I asked at the reception and they said the mini fridge is upon request and used Covid as an excuse. And Covid was 4 years ago, get with the program…

We really enjoyed out stay! Everything was perfect! We celebrated my husband's 65th Birthday and the staff were amazing!!!! Lois, the Concierge was the BEST! She stayed on top of everything and the staff were very accommodating. The location is PERFECT! We can't say enough about this location, the staff and the city. What a perfect location!!!!! Thank you!!

The place was nice and the staff were super nice, but it didn't really feel like a family friendly environment. I think this hotel is setup for couples more than families. The staff though were super nice!

Excellent location for getting to Navy Pier and the lakeshore trail, which was great for me as I enjoy running. The pool was nice, if a little chilly, and even though I didn’t use the gym it looked well equipped. Staff were all very friendly, breakfast was extensive and of a good portion size. The hotel was about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Chicago. Would definitely stay there again.

This property is not W quality as it has not been maintained. The white grout in the bathroom has been covered in black sharpee, very poorly, with marks all over the tiles - very unprofessional. I could also hear conversations in the hallway and other rooms very clearly, so the soundproofing was weak. Scuffs were everywhere, touch up painting has not been done for years. Did not feel like a 4 stare hotel.

The staff seems to have perfected the art of being attentive without becoming annoying. Every staff member--including housekeeping--was pleasant. Enjoyed the restaurant and there are ample cuisine options nearby if you want to explore. No doubt we'll be back again.

Am Very upset this was supposed to be a romantic getaway for my boyfriend and I. It was his birthday and we drove 4 hours just to get there, as we got into the room I think everywhere I stood it was dirty. Stains on the sheets, towels. Didn’t look like the bed was made.. I also had thought we reserved the room with a tub next to the bed and that wasn’t true ether. Bed was comfy and I’m happy I brought my own blanket cause I was not going to sleep with a blanket that had stains (stains that even had food left on it.)
