Staff was not welcoming on arrival at all. Also wouldn’t allow food to be delivered to do which is not a 5-star service what so over. It was an overall uneeasy feeling stay there. They do not match their slogan of “EVERYTHING” being an option there .

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of the city! Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The restaurant they have has great food too! We will definitely be back!!

I recently stayed at the Staypineapple Hotel in Chicago and let me tell you, it was amazing! The rooms were super clean and tidy, which is always a big plus for me. The pineapple decorations were absolutely adorable! They added such a cute and fun vibe to the place. One thing I really loved about this hotel was its location. It was so convenient because everything I needed was within walking distance. Whether it was grabbing a bite to eat, exploring the city, or checking out some cool attractions, I didn't have to go far. It made my stay so much more enjoyable. And let's not forget about the staff. They were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. They made me feel right at home and were always ready to assist with any questions or requests I had. Their warm and welcoming attitude definitely made a difference. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Staypineapple Hotel in Chicago. The clean rooms, cute pineapple decorations, convenient location, and friendly staff all contributed to making my stay memorable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great hotel in the Windy City! 🍍✨

Upon check-in, we received two coasters that could be exchanged for a free drink…. coke, coffee or house wine. This time we also received a free Stay Pineapple water bottle that could be refilled. The breakfast options on the weekdays & weekends are wonderful. The all day menu is adequate. It was St Patrick’s Day wkd do we were unable to book a larger room. The hotel was sold out. I prefer the larger room. Front desk staff is friendly & easy to converse with!

The location was very convenient. Was able to walk to a lot of shopping, restaurants and museums. The staff was very friendly and I loved the filtered water dispenser in the lobby. My only complaint would be that the room was very dark. It had a main light right when you enter the room and then the rest of the room only had 2 small bedside lights.

Loved the authentic feel of the hotel. Convenient location with parking options available in walkable distances - we traveled with no kids so this could be a challenge for parents unless you tag team it or use valet parking. Restaurant available downstairs with average food - I personally enjoyed the bread pudding and the burger option. The hotel gives a complementary drink (soda, beer, or wine) which came in handy during our stay. Our only complaint was that there was no microwave available in the room so our leftover food went to waste. Overall, I would stay there again and recommend it to a friend because of the convenience factor.

Beautiful historic building, comfortable bed. Room wasn’t cleaned in the 4 days we stayed. Parking is 75$ per day if you use their valet- use Spot Hero!! Extra cost for basic amenities.

My girlfriend and I stayed after seeing Drunk Shakespeare a couple of blocks away on a Friday night. Staff was great and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a nice breakfast at the Atwood the next morning with the additional treat of 2 free mimosas from the hotel. We will be back!

Love the robes and bedding, and the large windows in the room. Checkin staff was great—helpful and friendly. Atwood needs more wait staff for the bar or needs to let patrons know they have to order food at the bar.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we were doing something in the Loop. It was a cool hotel—the complimentary drink and cookies were appreciated. Our only complaint was that there was only one reading lamp on the side of the bed, so it was hard for one person to read and the room was a bit dark.

Smart, well cared for
The room was nice - the landings on the small floors and the traditional office doors were very cool, wrought iron staircases and the old elevator grills kept the historic building's feel.
