I'm glad it was only one night. Despite asking for a quiet room away from the construction, and despite the fact I had paid for a premium room type, they put me in a room looking right into the scaffolding, over the noisy street and the subway line. Then they moved me - right down the hall, with the same noise issues. On the third try I got a room on the other side of the hallway, but it was still noisy thanks to activity in the hallways at 2:00 in the morning, and the airplane noise. The facilities are dated, under renovation, and generally cold and sterile, as is the service. This is a big mid range hotel that is okay if you don't need quiet and you can't afford Leela Palace.

Property is not clean and not up to date with technology. I reserved an apartment kind of room which had very bad phones and no ipad/tab. Whenever I called reception for any help (primarily to book a car) they said they will call me back and never did. I had to call few times to get the service. They provided some towel arts in my room which was fantastic. Other than that this hotel is not even worth getting a 3 star.

Our stay was comfortable. I would have appreciated better cleanliness - both the rooms and the breakfast buffet areas lacked cleanliness. There were flies buzzing around our table that made the dining experience bad.

We were stranded with flight cancellations due to the hurricane in Chennai. The customer service this staff provided exceeded all expectations. In fact Shivani Gupta from customer service even helped me with a refund from an entirely unrelated issue. They looked after so many customers with complete ease. I wrote this so that the staff can be commended by the management for their performance today. The hotel was at more than capacity. They did it gracefully. Shiva I and yogeewaran at the desk but all the others were equally exceptional as they dealt with other clients.

I stayed in the 2 bedroom ‘residence’ apartment and it was perfect. The rooms were spacious and each had an large bathroom with shower, toilet and bath. The kitchen area was well equipped with dishes, microwave, cutlery, fridge, dishwasher and coffee machine. This was the perfect option for us as we wanted to hang out as a family in our down time, The breakfast buffet was vast with many hot options - Indian and western. We even went to Peshawari for dinner one night / excellent north West Indian food. Staff were attentive and friendly. They went over and above to help us. The pools were refreshing after a day out - cool water and enough space to do short laps. We used Ubers for transport and the location was convenient to get into town

Hotel ambience and facilities are great. But reaching out for service is terrible. In room dining is good in terms of service, maybe because you pay for it. Getting housekeeping or any other support is very bad. They have welcom assistance number that literally nobody picks up. In that sense, Didn't feel like being in an 5-star luxury hotel.
