The property has a beautiful beach, the facilities are clean But !!! The food was terrible, they re DO the lunch left overs with dinner, limited Alcohol provided, crew members are very good and polite

Loved this hotel.! And getting all inclusive for a great deal can’t beat that ! All you can drink and eat all breakfast lunch snack & dinner m! Beach right behind hotel, security taking care of the people at the beach ! I’ll be coming back

Not overly pretentious and had all we were looking for. Friendly staff but unassuming lobby. It seems attention was for the other area. Our room overlooked the beach . 3001- nice enough room but basic.

It’s hardly a two star. The bed was faulty, dirty. The bathroom is dirty. There are no options but to eat the all you can eat which is pretty limited and unappealing

I loved how incredible pretty the entire property was. So many palm trees, birds, flowers and directly at the beach. We liked. the restaurants and cozy atmosphere. The design of the pools and the privacy of the beach, it was not as overcrowded as for example playa Azul. We absolutely loved it, the staff was friendly and our room was nice and clean. great stay for the price

The staff and grounds are lovely. Rooms are meh and might leak during the rain. The food is straight up terrible. The bar is good. Decent for a quick and cheap trip but do not recommend and won’t return.

If you don’t want to spend a lot this is perfect! Beautiful location next to ferry to Isla . It’s a perfect 3 star hotel . Ask for upgrade and get ocean view $20 more a day worth it !!

However, it is not necessary to say things that are not, I understand that he was upset because he wanted to charge a charge for sheets that in the end no charge was made, the facial towels were given to him at the time he asked for them. We have to say things that did not affect your stay, and I never happened to deliver the room at your check out until 1:36 pm. I hope you have a good day

This a terrible place. The room looked horrible and the bed was so old and uncomfortable. The sheets were stained; I had to get them changed. This felt more like a motel, not an all inclusive hotel. The front desk staff, especially the man working the evening shift, was so rude! I would not recommend this place ever, especially if you are traveling with family. Such waste of a vacation.

Exactly what we wanted
This was exactly what we were looking for our family trip. We didn’t expect or want anything fancy because we planned to be out all day and just needed a comfortable place to shower and sleep. Our room was close to a bird area so it was a little annoying having them wake us up in the morning. But besides that the breakfast buffet was included in our booking and it was decent. The beds are not the most comfortable but the AC works amazingly. I would stay here again and recommend to someone looking for the same experience.

The pictures advertised are not an accurate depiction of this hotel. We booked 2 rooms with double beds - we arrived and were assigned a bed with 2 twin beds. The safe didn’t work, the door was broken, and the pillows had blood stains. The balcony wasn’t functional and overall the place was absolutely disgusting. There was a dead geico inside of the towel and multiple dead roaches on the ground. On top of that, the service/staff were not accommodating at all. We had to pay even though we purchased the breakfast included package. Use caution when booking - though this place is cheap, it would be worth it to upgrade to a different hotel.

You get what you pay for.
Dos Playas was more than half the price of other all-inclusive hotels. The hotel grounds were nice and well kept, but the buildings were old, dirty and need work. The lower dining Room flooded when it rained. The bathroom shower head was built for people no taller than 5’5” and our room 3107 had mold or patchwork on the ceiling. We also had no hot water for a day and man came in and “jimmied” the sinks to make the hot shower water work-I had to do the same the day after. The buildings needed to be power washed and painted. The food was plenty and surprisingly good-drinks were ok. Beach was nice and location was great-next to ferry ($22) and a few minutes from downtown shopping area.

The bed was the worst I ever slept on in my whole life and I have been camping and slept in some DIVES. It felt like sleeping on a bed of rocks. Everything else was as I expected except the beach area was much better than I expected and really made it so much better. Breakfast was OK. Oh and they really should tell you befoer you check out that there will be BAD and LOUD music playing until 11:00 every night. Thank goodness we only were staying one night.
