I was impressed at the great value for a well kept clean., Pleasant place to stay. And convenient to downtown within walking distance, Staff seemed to be a well Organized team That work together well. I am into building maintenance and property management. I would give them a high rating at what I saw with their property management. Breakfast was a good value as well and conveniant. Pool was a nice bonus. Nice to have a washer and dryer room. Overall, great experience,, friendly staff as well.

This is a budget hotel. The place is clean, the water plumbing is excellent with good flow and facility is clean. From a price point, the offering is decent. A few things to keep in mind is the hotel is several blocks away from the water front, about 10 min walk which in a hot sun can be an issue for some, there is no formal restaurant on premise aside from just for continental breakfast, and the venue is NOT disabled people friendly as there is no elevator or ramp. Hotel room does have a cute little balcony which we found refreshing to have a morning coffee or evening drink once the sun is down. Overall, a budget friendly, nice and clean hotel.

This was really very good. Breakfast a bit limited but otherwise quite adequate. Strangely no support in room for putting suitcase on. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for- this is a budget hotel. The staff was outstanding and it has a good location being 15 minutes walking distance away from the Esplanade. However the actual room needs attention. The room has not been updated and it constantly smelled of bleach. The bed was uncomfortable. My advice would be to spend the money and upgrade to a better motel if you can afford it.

Totally met my needs!
Coral Tree Inn was a great choice for me, as I needed it for a home base from which to do some daytime excursions that left from Cairns CBD. It was centrally located to the marina, the railway, and the esplanade. I would definitely stay again.

Clean and easy walking distance to bars and restaurants Not many off street parking places so if they are full you will need to park on the street. Excellent value for money compared to some of the accommodation in Cairns

Basic for the price
Comfortable bed but room could do with brightening up. The picture shows a comfy chair but that hasn’t there. The shower room didn’t have an extractor fan so the room became “damp” when showering. Too many extras to pay for and laminated notices to read. Nice pool. No lift as well.

Great hotel for a stay in Cairns
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff could not have been more helpful - we were allowed to check in early as the room was ready, and after check out we were able to leave our bags in a secure room until we were ready to leave Cairns. The room was very clean and fresh, the wifi worked well, and overall it was an excellent hotel for our one night in Cairns. It was also really near to everything - the esplanade, Cairns Central shopping centre, and bus and train stations. The hotel also supplied free tea and coffee in reception, which we found a great benefit in the morning.

Hotel is fine, but we didn’t get the king suite that I paid for. Having a king bed was super, super important to me, it’s why I upgraded to a king suite. And then we were given a room with two queen beds! I am mediately called the front desk to get it fixed but they said they didn’t have the king suite available. This was crushingly disappointing and I plan to contact hotels.com about it. Not cool. This was a romantic holiday getaway that I flew around the world for.

Lovely little hotel a few blocks back from the esplanade with decent pool. Reception guy was very helpful when I arrived and even searched for a bottle opener for me. Everything was as stated. Would happily stay again.

Nice rooms. I loved the Pina Colada shampoo, conditioner and hand wash and how you had the option of a fan or an air con in your room. Friendly staff, comfortable bed and a very good location. 10 minutes walk to the main Cafes and restaurants. Across from a nice park and the pool is lovely.

The rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful, the pool was a great size for the size of hotel. An easy walk to the esplanade, Cairns Central shopping centre/train station and pubs and restaurants. Would highly recommend and I would stay here again.
