This is a superb hotel, ideally situated in the old part of Cadiz and extremely close to the Cathedral. The staff were without exception friendly and helpful. The rooms and en suite bathrooms were well equipped and sparklingly clean. Breakfast was very simple but also inexpensive. We could not recommend this hotel more highly.

The central location and walking distance from train station was ideal. While the room was comfortable and met our needs it was on the small side. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel just a short walk from the train station. Perfectly situated so you can walk around Cadiz. Stayed in the penthouse which included a roof terrace with views of the cathedral. Comfortable room with a nice bathroom. Good Continental breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is very well located and very clean. It is in close walking distance to the cathedral and two town squares, as well as to one of the beautiful Cadiz beaches (Santa Maria del Mar). Underground public parking is nearby. The room was very small. The elevator kept breaking down - not so handy with suitcases.

Good service for cyclists
They let us ship our bikes from there after we left after a bike tour. Very accommodating. Great location, and good price. Only "downside" was that the room was comically small, but that's the one we had paid for (they have bigger ones for more money) the bathroom was a good size. We didn't really mind the small room though, in Cadiz, don't hand out in your room. Overall this is a great place to stay for not too much money.

Excellent location within the Old Town of Cadiz - everything walkable in just a few minutes. Reasonably sized room, a little tight for two people, but ok for single travellers. Small fridge didn’t work so couldn’t have cold drinks.

The gentleman that checked us in was actually quite rude, the other staff however were helpful. Be aware that the outdoor terrace shown in the photos is for the rooms on the 5th floor only. Rooms are very small but quiet. Cadiz is small so location anywhere in the city isn’t a problem.

Very well located in the old city, walkable from the station and close to cathedral, main square and places to eat. In a modern building (surrounded by very old ones) with quite small but pleasant rooms.

Great location situated between the Cathedral and the Puerta de la Tierra. The staff was helpful, friendly and attentive—I enjoyed my interactions with them. The room was small (but that was expected) clean and environmentally conscious. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! One note—they should specify that the rooftop terrace belongs to private rooms.

Modern hotel just a few steps Friday m the cathedral. Brilliant staff who were so friendly (thank you Marie del Mar!) and had great recommendations for food (go to Codiga de Barres, 1 min from the hotel and get an outside table on the square, you won’t regret it). Breakfast was pretty good for a small hotel, with a couple of hot options. The room was small but had everything needed, including full dice bathroom, great air conditioning (very quiet) and solid wifi. The small penthouse with balcony is teeny tiny but the balcony with the view over the cathedral adds so much space and light - it’s a bargain of a room. Easily walked to Playa Victoria each day in 20 mins or so. Would very happily stay here again - in fact, planning it again soon.

Wildly over-priced. We paid €190 per night for a small room with average facilities and average condition. No better than a budget chain. None of the facilities or communal areas you would expect of a hotel at this price such as a bar or lounge or view. The photos of deckchairs on the roof are misleading - this is only the even more expensive rooms.

Not worth the price at all. The nicest thing I could say is that the location was good. It was more or less clean but the towels were thread bare and had holes in them. The air conditioning smelled like amonia. The king bed was two singles pushed together, fairly common for europe but still not what was promised. The room was reasonably clean but tired and in need of repair and renovation (broken floor tiles, heavy mildew in grout and caulking). Unless the price drops by 2/3's (I paid $160 CAD for one night) I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

As an hotels in a center of an Historical site of a city, we have another building surrounding us. We agree the Atics (rooms in fifth floor) has a nice view and a great terrace to stay. with table chairs and deckchairs.. We expect to see you soon. Leandro Director

Patagonia Sur Hotel is located almost in the city centre of Cadiz. The staff were very helpful and gave us excellent directions to the parts of Cadiz we wished to experience. The only drawback was the small breakfast area and no soy milk was available. Other than that, we look forward to return on our next trip to Cadiz.

A basic hotel ,but well situated close to the cathedral square in the Casco Antiguo. The bedroom and bathroom were quite small, though the bed was a very comfortable king-size and the bathroom had an excellent shower. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Great location. We had the rooftop room which looked good online but in reality was quite uncomfortable. In the summer the room gets very hot and the curtains must stay closed. Further the air conditioning was feeble and didn't cool effectively. The room was also very small and did not include breakfast in the rate. The price was way over valued compared to other hotels i stayed in on my road trip through spain.

A very nice quiet and friendly hotel with a multilingual staff, great location, and new so everything works. Electric tea kettle in room a nice English touch for this Spanish hotel.

Great Hotel in Cadiz
The hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and helpful and actually recommended a restaurant (Argentine Steak House)where we had the best dinner of our three week trip. Loved the city. Very comfortable bed and great shower. Would recommend to friends

it does not have a restaurant, it does not have a room view as it said in its web site, very small rooms and bathroom. It does not have a food available at dinner time. It is in a noisy spot and the service at the cafeteria was not good. There is no access by car.

A jewel in the middle of Cadiz
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Patagonia. Although the rooms were a bit small they were exceptionally clean and well appointed. The location was ideal in the old town, in a quiet area, yet only minutes from the cathedral and in the centre of the restaurant district. The staff were very friendly and courteous and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast consisted of a very well stocked buffet. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend this hotel.
