The Residence Baron Hotel is located in a perfect location for walking to attractions in both Pest & Buda. The staff is wonderful and is always available to answer questions or help out. My room was quite small, but very clean and comfortable.

Good location
the hotel is in a very good location for a tourist. The staff was nice. The breakfast was good enough to carry me through the morning. I had the small single room. The bed was fine but I would have liked a better pillow and a small drawers where I could unpack. The shower head didn’t stay I place

Affordable and pleasant stay in Budapest.
The service and staff were very good. The room was a bit small with 2 twin beds. The decor is a bit aged. The shower is like being in a phone booth, tight. But overall it was a pleasant stay and nicely located with good restaurants nearby. The morning breakfast that was served had choices to everyone’s taste.

Staff pleasant especially on arrival. Breakfast was the same everyday fresh fruit was kiwi orange and tinned fruit not varied fresh fruit, toaster didn’t work had to put toast down about five times. Property is nice for a weekend break.

Stayed In January 2020. Very cold in the city but the hotel was warm and cosy. Nice breakfast and a great location for exploring the city. Nice, helpful staff.

Excellent location with very friendly Staff.
The Hotel is in an excellent, safe, central location with bars, restaurants & shops within minutes of the Hotel. The staff were very friendly & helpful, they arranged our pick up & return to the Airport. Breakfast was tasty, plentiful with a good selection of food. I would recommend anyone Visiting Budapest to stay here, it’s a beautiful, safe & welcoming City with some amazing food.

Budapest in 4 days
The "Wellness centre" was closed for refurbishment during our stay, which we were not advised about at time of booking. We stayed 4 nights in a very well sized bedroom, unfortunately, the bed had a foam topper above a very soft mattress. The hotel location is fantastic and close to a host good bars and restaurants, all which offer good value.

So the customer service was very good, the staff did what they could to accommodate us. Breakfast is decent and the geography of the area is excellent just next to the Danube and really clod se to major underground and just opposite to the Geller thermal spa which is a must see.. Now the room. I was expecting a double or king-size bed or at least a big mattress to accommodate me and my partner but instead they, apparently in every room I was told, have 2 single beds put together with a foam topper on top which could have worked if it wasn't for the fact that the mattress itself was so soft I literally sunked into it! In their defence the guys did replace the beds with a combo of 4 slightly harder beds.. Which kept sliding apart at night which ment I almost fell off them 1 night.. Not good really.. Next is the heat.. For some reason the room was extremely hot I had to keep the window open all night which made it for a very uncomfortable stay. I won't be back am afraid

Overall, the property is nice and the majority of the staff was friendly and helpful. The night staff on Friday and Saturday, however, were extremely rude and appeared to have a bias toward LGBTQ guests. They stated the hotel policy, which was fine, but were extremely rude in tone and demanor during explanation and afterwards. The hotel should really review this staff and either replace, or give training around acceptance. Kudos to the day staff for their help.

the travel from the airport was very easy by bus. The service was good and breakfast was lovely,central for what we needed to see and do also. The only downside to the hotel was the room was far too hot,had to open the windows had to the air con had to go on all the time.. with the noise from the air con and the noise outside we did have restless nights!!

Beds are not comfortable at all. Everything is old and rusty. Breakfast very poor. It finishes at 10 am and if you go at 9am you can hardly find anything left.
