“Not for the faint hearted”

The Hotel is located next to a subway, so if like me you know your way around New York it is a good location, but the subway noise continues all night so it is not the place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. The hotel is not in a tourist area so I wouldn't recommend it if it is your first visit to New York.The plus side is that the rooms are clean and cheap, so if you are looking for no frills accomodation it is good option.

“Cheap but you get what you pay for”

This hotel is in a dodgy area of the Bronx, but its right under the train so its very noisy right thru the night. The good thing though is you dont have to walk far to board the train to Manhattan. The rooms wre OK and the shower was OK, but it is a bit grubby. The Receptionist were OK but they could be rude if you crossed them.
