It was an amazing experience for my aunite and I! The room was fresh and clean...the spa facilites were good.Great pool. Enjoyed the wide range of breakfast options and the customer service was excellent! Nothing was too much!The staff were friendly and attentive! It was a nice treat!

You contacted the hotel on the day of arrival to request that we cancel your booking at the last minute , and it was explained that unfortunately this would not be possible without charging just for the first night. Hopefully you will get a chance to stay with is in the future to actually experience our wonderful 2AA rosette restaurant , our superb Esprit Wellness & spa facilities and our great friendly service Regards Hotel Management
I've stayed at this property before and was happy to say that it had lost none of it's appeal. Great location for my needs, super helpful and friendly staff and a very comfortable room. Add to that superb meals in the restaurant and you have a winner in Winnersh!
Property is very clean , modern and a nice feel . Rooms spotless and comfortable with every need met . Breakfast was really good and staff very nice Would def return here

As explained by the reception manager, IHG, along with most other major hotel companies, utilizes credit and debit card authorizations as a standard practice. It is assumed when you make a reservation for one of our hotels, the credit/debit card account number you provide has sufficient funds available to be used as a guarantee. An authorization hold amount, in some situations, may be up to the total amount of your room and tax charges for your entire stay, including incidentals ( 75.00 / room / night).The issuing bank/credit card company governs the release of an authorization hold, and the release time varies according to each company’s individual policies. Some banks recommend against the use of a debit card for travel purposes, as this practice is common within the travel industry. We apologise that it took him 10 minutes to create a new booking for you on the system before he was able to check you in.We apologise if you felt that the night receptionist was impolite and have conveyed your feedback to him.We hope that you will give us an opportunity to stay with us again in the future as we do offer a new Crowne Plaza with superb 4 silver star facilities, 2AA rosette restaurant, and relaxing wellness & spa facilities as well as complimentary parking and a convenient location.Regards Hotel Management
The hotel staff were fantastic, very helpful.
Wanted to go into reading the train station was just around the corner two stops and we were in the centre. No lager parking fee, as shopping all day.
Good food and plenty of it.

The staying was nice overall. Only disappointing thing is the swimming pool poor timetable for children under 16yo. 8/10am and 2/5.30pm ish. Basically at breakfast time and at shopping/visit time only. If you have planned to go to visit some places around and have children with you, forget the swimming pool. The staff was nice and very polite.

Decent hotel, housekeeping not up to standard
Had to ask three times to get body wash in room, also had to ask for cleaners to clean drinks tray as was filthy.
Happy with hotel location, rooms, food and cleanliness. There were 20 of us there across different families and the team coped very well when we all went for dinner. They also provided nice touches on the friday as it was my daughter's wedding on the saturday
Family weekend with three small children, everything was great, staff all friendly and helpful, clean, food and drinks were good, not a major thing but the only disappointment was the swimming pool (in the allocated children’s time) didn’t allow for our 18 month old. One of the reasons we choose the hotel was for the swimming pool use.
The hotel was good. Great sized bed, nice amount of space in the room, handy to have the iron available. The person on reception had a very strong accent that I wasn’t familiar with so I found it a little hard to understand, but apart from that all the reception staff were very helpful.
Reception staff lovely, room smart, clean and modern.
Arrived to the 'fancier' on site restaurant for dinner. Had to go find a waitress to order food after waiting 15mins....restaurant was empty. Food arrived after an age, i had to ask again for my drink, apparently my glass of wine was still being poured. It arrived 35mins after i ordered it.
