We are sad to read that you prefered to have a room in the main building and that the Chalet building smelled old. Nevertheless, to make a reservation in our hotel you can always choose between these two buildings. Photos and other details also explain the difference between the main building ("Château") and the adjoining building, the Chalet. However, we only have 7 rooms in the Château which are quickly booked. We would love to welcome you again. Maybe in our new building which will open its doors in mid-October 2019 : 20 modern rooms, some with balconies and bath tubs but also 2 terraces are planned. Currently the downtown is easily accessible by the P+R Boecklin located at 3 km or a bus station is located nearby. But good news, the downtown will be soon even closer to the Château thanks to a new tram station inaugurated in the next months. There are very good restaurants around the Château and it is not necessary to go to the center. Only Sundays and Mondays offer fewer possibilities, our reception is available for help and recommand you.
