We are family of three, young boy, and stayed in a 2 bed suite.
The quality of the room, pool, restaurants was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Only complaint for the room was the sofa in the living space wasn't comfortable and the air-conditioning was too noisy to have on at night.
Minor complaint overall was that we weren't told on booking that the restaurant for villa guests was being refurbished; and we weren't told that there was an a la carte menu for villa guests until the last day.
Although technically 'on' the beach, you can only see it from the beach club (which was a nice bar, pool and restaurant area). There are fireworks almost nightly.
There's a visit by a baby elephant twice daily - they kids loved it. No pressure at all to tip, but 50-100 baht gets a thank you from the elephant himself!
Overall - it's one of the best places we've stayed. Highly recommended.

From our first welcome to our sad departure everything was excellent, only two slight. Negatives 1 pricing in resort was the equivalent of what you would expect to pay in Australia,
you expect that so not really a negative. 2 we tried the activities on the resort I.e. The archery was good but the equipment was very worn. All that said who uses this when you are on a holiday in Thailand at the beach?! All in all the best resort and staff I have ever experienced THANK YOU
My husband and I took our 1 1/2 old baby to Banyan Tree Phuket for a 2 weeks family vacation. The amenities we requested for baby's comfort were all met. upon our arrival we were very well received and during our stay, the in-house staff were kind and efficient. Being able to travel between the Laguna properties by shuttle bus was great, providing more activity and F&B options during our long stay. The restaurants served very good quality food and the 2 bedroom pool villa was well quipped and preserved. The swimming pool with jacuzzi was a haven for our baby. Even during his sleep, he moved his arms and legs!
Our experience at Banyan Tree was fantastic. Our baby had a great time. That's all that mattered to me.
We had an excellent stay due to the staff at the Outrigger. Every time we required something it was attended to straight away!
The only letdown was it was quiet far from anything, so you had to eat and drink at the resort itself or the resorts close by (which we knew before going), however, we spent more money than we wanted.
The Villa was lovely, a home away from home- Thanks for a great stay!
If this resort had have been on a beach- it would have been perfect!
"Beautiful private pool, 5-10 minute walk to beach."
Had a great stay, staff was really nice. Many had limited English, but could always find someone quickly who could understand you. You have full access to a shower, chairs, and pool at the beach, they are partners with the bliss beach resort, just being the orange towels provided by the resort. Food at the red room was cheap and tasty.

This was our first time at the Amora Beach Resort, as we wanted somewhere where we could have time out after a hectic year, and we loved it. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Deluxe Pool room which was great. All staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome. The swimming pool was huge and was kept spotlessly clean, also the beach was clean and the both the sea and the pool waters were warm. There were plenty of restuarants nearby and the one that we went to most was the Sugar Cane - lovely food, and not expensive. Even the food at the hotel was not expensive.
We will definitely go back to Amora next year as we were simply spoilt,
