Absolutely disgusting! Roaches everywhere. Bathroom was not clean. Dirty towels that were already used. Smoke-filled room after I reserved smoke free. I immediately checked out and they refused to return my money. I was unable to get in contact with a live person at Expedia. I had my mother and child with me. We had to find another hotel when most were already sold out. Terrible experience! DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!

A piece of glass was found in the sheets. Definitely not safe or clean, but had no other option to leave immediately. I did end up switching to a cleaner hotel.

This was not the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it is definitely in the bottom half of the list. The room was clean enough I would not say super clean but it was not disgusting. The staff was just there they weren’t overly friendly or even friendly, but neither were they overly rude or anything like that. The hotel was super loud. Watched a man get arrested on the property during my stay. The rooms have a sliding glass door was not uncommon to see someone with their face pressed up against the glass looking in. But we had a trailer and truck and there was ample parking and it was suitable for what we needed.

I will just say, Do Not Stay Here if you have children.very dirty,prostitutes. Didn't walk into the room i was afraid there would be bed bugs and or roaches. Pretty nasty.

The place was filthy! Roaches in the bathroom and comforter had dirt marks on it. We ended up not even staying in the room that night because of the filth, roaches and smell! Do not stay at this place.

People were cooking outside hotel and smell every where looking like they lived there. Toilet clogged called front desk about 10 pm and they said they couldnt take care of it until about 9 am. Heater set to auto and never turned off ahad set to 60 and felt like a sauna. Worst stay ever.

For the price it is absolutely not worth it. Never did get the internet to work so was not able to watch tv. The bed was comfortable. Shower was newly installed. With the exception of an extremely noisy refrigerator in the room the over night was quiet.

Our daughter is moving in to UGA, and we made reservations to stay here for a couple of nights. They always say you don’t judge a book by its cover. Well, you don’t judge a hotel by their pictures. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. When we started up the steps to go to our room located on the second floor, there was an opened bag of garbage on the top step. Not to mention the smell of alcohol. The carpet in the hallway needs to be replaced. It smelled old and musty when we walked in. And the doors/hallway could use some fresh paint. The bathroom definitely needs updating. It is small and does not have a working exhaust fan. So you can imagine how miserable it gets when taking a shower. There was a dead roach in the floor between the wall and our bed. Not to mention the two roaches that I killed. As I looked out of the sliding glass door onto the balcony, there was a large spider web. So you better believe we were up early the next morning, ready to get out of this place. We only booked our stay here because of the advertisement with the “cute” pictures, plus the price was very reasonable. As the saying goes…you get what you pay for. We will pay more for a much better place on our future visits to Athens. Take my advice, stay the hell away!!

Very old property with some attempt to modernize, very noisy room, broken TV, No sheer curtain on sliding door so had to keep lights on during the day. Shower head dripped constantly and loudly, the coffee at the breakfast was so bad I disposed of it. food choices were limited and inedible. However the front desk lady did her best to be pleasant and to assist guests.

The room was not clean, the fridge didnt work, the lamp was cracked, the tv remote had no backing, and the clock was wrong. We went out and bought cleaning products and a new set of sheets after seeing the room.

Didn't like the size of the bathroom, very small with limited shelf space, etc. Did like the number of charging options for various devices, everything worked, Some of the outlets have become so overused they won't hold plug.

When we pulled up there were police sirens going off right by the hotel, cars driving in and meeting people then leaving, homeless people walking around in the parking lot, and what looked like but I can’t confirm a hooker trying to get business ( could have just been drunk and hollering at people). We didn’t even go in because we were convinced that our car would be stolen by morning. I have never had an issue with a hotel and it wasn’t about it not being nice. It was we felt totally unsafe. We had already accepted the fact that the place might be run down or not clean but we had to draw the line with it having every warning flag that it was unsafe. The hotel down the road we ended up staying in had a gate and safety precautions for the area. This hotel had none. Anyone could drive up to any part of the hotel and they did from what I saw. I was willing to lose my money I paid for this hotel and book another hotel double the price to not stay at this place.

Not the best but definitely not the worst.
The main reason for my stay was for my wife to attend this year’s Ballooniversity in Athens while I worked from the hotel. There is a bit of a pest problem as we found a couple of roaches in the bathroom. I had hoped that the pool was functioning so I could take a dip after work, but that was not the case so I was somewhat disappointed. The wifi was pretty good as it allowed me to work with no issues. I took a stroll to see the hotel and saw there are a few buildings with structural damage. Overall, it was a very inexpensive stay so I was half expecting what I saw. If the pest problems were to be fixed, we’d probably stay here once more come the next Balloniversity since there were a few close by stores and restaurants near the hotel which is definitely a plus.

I liked the staff, very helpful. The pool was without water, has been for two years we where told. It needs major repairs. Did not feel safe while staying with my daughter. Could smell marijuana in the hallways. There was what appeared to be repairs being done to the shower, in the room next to us, in the hallway. Drywall all over the floor. I do not feel that the description of the property is up to date. We asked about getting our money back but could not because it was prepaid. We left a day early anyways.

Just ok
I was looking forward to a dip in the pool as advertised due to it being a very hot day, but the pool was empty. The person manning reception told me I’d have to wait for the receptionist to check in and she arrived 10 mins later, clearly very flustered. She was lovely though and apologised, I could see that whatever had happened it was not her fault and she was sorting things. The door to the room corridor, and the room door itself were ‘hit and miss’ having to try several times to get it open. General condition was ‘ok’, and bed was comfy enough. I didn’t have time for breakfast, so can’t comment.
