I liked the location and honestly didn’t mind the stairs I think it makes it more fun getting up and down. But the bathroom is quite small and caused couple problems there. Other than that it was a great stay! Thank you!

I Had a great stay in this hotel. Easy and near access to the centre of town. A very quiet sourounding. Friendly staff and a clean hotel. I highly recommend hermitage hotel, Amsterdam.

A good location
The hotel is in a good location opposite the Hermitage Museum. You have free access to the gardens and coffee shop in the garden, which was lovely as we had sunny weather. We were able to walk to the flower market and plenty of bars and restaurants. You are just a 5 minute walk away from the metro, 2 stops from Central Station. The tram was a longer walk because renovations were being carried out on the bridge. We, 3 friends had the triple room on the second floor overlooking the canal and Museum. It was just a base for us, to explore the Museums, it was clean and reasonably spacious. The shower room was a bit snug but no problem for us. I would recommend this hotel if you don't have mobility problems, there is no lift and with all 16th century properties in Amsterdam the staircase is steep and quite narrow. All in all, for us it was perfect, we would stay here again.

The location is perfect! You can have a short walk to the city center. The rooms are clean and helpful staff. The only downside is that the building is old with thin walls so you might not have a good night sleep if there was a noisy guests near in the rooms near you.

Very overpriced for what you get. Rooms rather run down, blinds were broken when we arrived. No cups, milk or tea bags in room despite there being a kettle. Mattresses hard and prone to sliding off bed. Pillows lumpy. Often very noisy at night from other guests. The only good thing I can say about this accommodation is the location. A 10 minute walk to the red light district and Rembrandtplein it’s very conveniently located. I wouldn’t stay here again most likely unless no other choice.

The room wasn’t cleaned for our arrival. It was still messy from the previous occupants. We were told to move to another hotel or wait a few hours for it to be cleaned. We were only staying for a few days so we didn’t have the time to waste moving round several hotels so we had to settle for the next one. Because we accepted this dark tiny room In another hotel they are refusing us any compensation which I think is out of order. Don’t recommend and won’t stay here or the ITC Hotel again.

I liked that it was in a classice Dutch canal house. Was close to a metro station and area was safe. What i didnt like was the fact that there were things that needed to be fixed. Cracks in the walls, bathroom toles missing, a window that had a gap at the bottom so small bugs and rain could get in. I believe there also might of been black mold in the shower. On the grout, there were black marks scattered about.

Staff was RUDE and out of order. Did not let us stay the first night had to stay somewhere else. Once we did stay they did not help us with anything at all. Still Paid for 5 nights although only allowed to stay for 4. Kicked us out early on the final day and had no manners

Great location. Room not much bigger than a large walk-in closet. No amenities to speak of. Only one wall outlet and it was on the wall to connect the tv and a small ledge to try and charge electronics. Cramped shower, miniature sink that was difficult to access. No air conditioning and the room was noisy being adjacent to the street. I stayed for approximately 12 hours out of a 4 day booking. Requested a refund for at least one day but front desk refused. Would not recommend unless it’s a dire necessity to have quick room for a short nap and a quick shower.

A ways away from the train station, but close to nearby transport. Close enough to walk to numerous things like the National Theater, Anne Frank House, Cheese Museum, etc. Narrow hall and steep stairs as expected of Amsterdam hotels, no elevator. Room was clean but had tiny flaws which don't really matter. Our room was next to the stairs and we did hear some footsteps at times. We happened to be here on the last portion of our Europe trip during the COVID-19 shutdown of all sit down restaurants and a number of stores in Amsterdam. Hotel was more than willing to help us make sure we were able to find things to do that were still open and make sure we could find food as well. Great hotel breakfast similar to hostel style, lots of options, best breakfast of our four hotels. I'd stay here again 100% due to the staff handling everything during the trying times.

It was awful night in this hotel , no one told us about party in this day ,we re can’t sleep ,was noise till 22 pm hight then start again from 6:20.am , price high for this hotel ,big mistake to choose this hotel ,not recommended .

Amazing location walking distance to everything, also extremely clean room and fresh sheets and towels every day. Was an awful lot of stairs which we didn’t mind but would take into consideration depending on your stature when booking. Also said we had a private bathroom when booking which we technically did but it was across the hall from our room so we had to fully dress when going to and from the shower or toilet, slightly annoying but wasn’t the worst. Overall great stay would recommend!

Well located, well kept with friendly and helpfull staff. Recommend to have breakfast there for the price is the best option. The only thing was having workers VERY early on the other side of the room wall one day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, modern and a comfy warm place to return to rest after being on your feet all day taking in the sights, particularly during the winter. About a 15 minute walk from the centre and in a beautiful spot surrounded by canals. Would definitely recommend

Was not impressed however with the fact that our bathroom was on the other side of the hall, a “private bathroom” should not just mean only accessible by us, it should be attached to our room, big downside...

Seems to me like this hotel is an undiscovered gem. While staying on the 3rd floor was a bit of a nightmare (3 flights of REALLY steep stairs!) the location was brilliant and very convenient for us, and the room was modern and in good condition. The communal area was a nice handy touch, and we enjoyed many hot drinks in there. Hotel seemed quiet as we didn't really see anyone else around. The hotel isn't in the heart of all Amsterdam nightlife, but personally we always enjoyed the tranquil nighttime walks back and the ability to escape the hustle and bustle if needed. Overall a very good stay, and would love to come back (if we were on a lower floor!)
