The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived and as it was the weekend of the G20, they gave us good advice as how to get around Brisbane with all the tight security going on at the time.
Unfortunately we did not have the time to dine at the restaurant, but the menu looked great and the prices reasonable.
We really enjoyed our three nights stay at the ibis Brisbane from October 2 to October 5, 2014. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located close to restaurants, Queen street Mall and the Roma Transit Centre. I found the staff at the registration desk to very efficient and courteous. No noise disturbances from the hallways or from the street. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again the next time we come back to Sydney. We also found the hotel rates through Expedia to be very affordable.
This is a budget 3 star hotel. Reception staff were very friendly and help full. Hotel very clean. Room we stayed in, 214 is very small as I would suggest most of the room are, but unless you want to through parties they are ok to sleep in. Dinning room/bar also very clean and cosy. Will stay there again when we stay in the Brisbane city as it is close to heart of city.
I can highly recommend the Astor I was weary and ready to relax check in a breeze apartment spacious modern light and airy I would definitely stay when in Brisbane again walk to cbd a breeze roomy self catering facilities brilliant thank you Alistair and staff
The hotel is located not too far away from the city and also very close to the Gabba cricket ground (Woolloongabba). It is reasonablly priced and it offerred a very comfortable stay. I particularly liked the bed and the friendly staff, who remembered me by name from my previous stay. Sometimes the hotel gets busy, but it was quiet this time.

Both rooms we booked were delightfully pleasant. We got a very good rate and were surprised at the high quality of the apartments and the standard of facilities. Lovely outlook over the river, but no noise at all from the expressway below. Only about a kilometre from the main shopping area, so an easy walk there or to South Bank. The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave information about local eateries etc, as the restaurant was unfortunately only open for breakfast. We will definitely put the Park Regis on our shortlist for future stays in Brisbane.
